Author of Swindle, Zoobreak, Schooled and over 65 other books, Gordon Korman spoke to our BHE students on Tuesday, February 2nd about being an author. Mr. Korman is also one of the authors in Scholastic's 39 Clues series which is on the New York Times best-selling list. He has written the second book in this series and will also be the author for the eighth book.

Students voluntarily designed displays portraying one of Mr. Korman's novels. If a student participated, his/her name was entered into a drawing. Our winners were privileged to meet Mr. Korman and have their picture taken with him. And, he eagerly autographed each of the displays.

Our 3rd grade students also voluntarily designed advertisements for Mr. Korman's novels. These students won in our chance drawing. Mr. Korman graciously autographed each display.

Mr. Korman spent time autographing books for BHE students, teachers and staff. Thank you Mr. Korman!
