Students in this class get High School credit for the required course of Communication Applications. They will be taught Communication Applications in a competitive Debate framework. This should be more enjoyable for the students. They will also be eligible to join the High School Debate Team next year. Students will be required to attend at least two tournaments in this class. Please check the schedule page. Middle School students can go to all local tournaments.

Essentially this is the start of a Middle School Debate Team. When students attend tournaments they are on the team. Debate is an open activity. That means students are not removed for success or failure. BEHAVIOR IS THE ONLY REASON A STUDENTS IS EVER REMOVED FROM THE BARBERS HILL DEBATE PROGRAM.
